Beaver at work

BEAVERS AT WORK: The Oregon Stater (and staterblog) editor stumbled - quite literally - over this beaver-created stump a few years ago, high in the Colorado Rockies. It seems like a good "work in progress" symbol for a Beaver-centric blog. PHOTO BY KEVIN MILLER

Like the magazine from which it derives its name, staterblog is part of the broad efforts of the OSU Alumni Association, which seeks to build meaningful connections between the university and its friends and graduates. The association’s main web site at www.osualum.com remains the spot to visit for alumni events, membership, service opportunities, etc.

We’ll post the major content of each quarterly issue of the Oregon Stater and we’ll also have fresh posts that might interest Beavers, some of them of great importance and some of them simply silly (meaning, of course, the posts, not you Beavers out there) as we attempt to wedge our way into your busy schedule.

On many pages we’ll include updated feeds of news and sports links, as well as image galleries and videos.

Feel free to comment or ask questions, preferably by using the commenting feature on the blog, but if you’re not comfortable with that you can still email us at stater@oregonstate.edu. If you choose the email route and have a comment about specific content on staterblog, please copy and paste into your message the web address of the page to which you’re referring.
